Troop 224 maintains a series of mailing lists that are used to communicate with the troop.   Below are the lists that are setup and what they do and who can send to them.

To use these lists you just send email to them using any email client on your desktop or phone.  

• announce@troop224lafayette.com - This list send email out to the everyone in the troop.  
• parents@troop224lafayette.com - This list send email out to the all parents in the troop.  
• moms@troop224lafayette.com - just to the moms
• leaders@troop224lafayette.com - This list send email out to the Uniformed leaders in the troop. To post to this list you have to be a UL.   
• scouts@troop224lafayette.com - This list send email out all the scouts in the troop.  Restricted to scoutmaster and ULS
• eagles@troop224lafayette.com - This list send email out to the eagles patrol. Parents and Scouts who are in the Eagles can post to this list.   
• ninjas@troop224lafayette.com - This list send email out to the ninjas patrol. Parents and Scouts who are in the Ninjas can post to this list.   
• sasquatch@troop224lafayette.com - This list send email out to the sasquatch patrol. Parents and Scouts who are in Sasquatch can post to this list.   
• seniors@troop224lafayette.com - This list send email out to the seniors patrol. Parents and Scouts who are in the seniors patrol can post to this list.   
• patrolleaders@troop224lafayette.com - this is a list for Patrol Leaders, SPL and Scoutmaster. 
• goat@troop224lafayette.com - girls patrol - only girls, their parents ,  Scoutmaster and UL's can post to this. 

Scoutmaster is cc'ed on all emails to the patrols lists. 

Emails sent to any list will show your email address as the sending address.  When people use 'reply', they will respond to you directly.  If you hit 'reply all' you will reply to the sender and to the whole list.  Do not use reply all unless you want the whole list to see your response.
